On Veteran’s Day Weekend 2019 Garden of Eden kicked off its Compassion Over Destruction Program with 3 days of giving in partnership with Hall of Flowers. After the Season 3 event, Garden of Eden facilitated the compassionate donation of remaining brand samples showcased at the main dispensary. A list of brands who participated can be found here. Garden of Eden partnered with three local Bay Area groups - Sweetleaf Bay Area for terminally ill, AIDS/HIV, and cancer patients; Operation EVAC for Veterans; and Rossmoore Cannabis Compassion Club for seniors. This is the first of many Compassion Over Destruction events to come. Garden of Eden and Hall of Flowers intend to set the standard for how un-sold events inventory will be handled. A huge thank you to all that participated, especially the brands, without whom this would not be possible.
