Sales Associate / Budtender
The Sales Associate/Budtender is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to patients at all times; they must be friendly and professional during all interactions with patients; consult with the patient to help select the proper medicine that best suits their needs; wiping and cleaning of all countertops, floors, shelves and displays, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients; perform all other responsibilities as directed or as assigned by management. Full-time or Part-time positions available. Position is located at the Garden of Eden, Hayward, California.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must be 21 years of age
Requires knowledge of a variety of cannabis strains including attributes, genetic crosses, terpene profiles and other strain info
Demonstrates the ability to interact with patients and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, as well as converse comfortably with patients
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
Must be open to working nights and weekends
Must clear a criminal background screen
Prior experience in the cannabis industry is desired, but not required
As Director of Human Resources, you will provide strategic leadership and drive key Human Resources strategies and execution including: talent acquisition, employment law compliance, benefits, compensation, employee relations, policy development & implementation, leadership training and coaching for Eden Enterprises. The ideal candidate has a mastery of the core elements of Human Resources, wants a position that will help define their career, and seeks a position that will vault them to the next level. The person for this job wants to build a human resources practice to navigate an organization during a period of rapid growth. With a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, our Director of Human Resources will manage all components of the Human Resources function, prior to building out an HR team as the business grows. They should be an expert at identifying and recruiting talent for both senior and junior positions. The candidate will play a strategic role in molding corporate culture, philosophy, and values.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5+ years Human Resources experience, with leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree, and/or related certifications a plus
The demonstrable ability to influence and inspire change, aligning the human resource strategy with the organizational goals in a high growth company.
A natural coach and mentor who relates well with others, listens effectively and can build rapport with a diverse workforce — all in the spirit of helping employees at all levels of development
Expert understanding of compensation, options programs, profit sharing programs, benefits, organizational development, employee relations, and training
Understanding of worker's compensation and other employment-related insurance issues.
Proven record of being both strategic and equally strong operationally
Well-developed leadership, communications, team building and influencing skills.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
